How to work out without working out!
One of the main parts of staying healthy is constantly being active – and the best part is, you can do it right at home or make it a tradition with friends!
Even doing one activity a day is enough to balance a healthy lifestyle between home and school life... or even taking a break from all that homework!
Depending on if you’ve missed soccer or netball practice, mix bonding with your family or friends with physical activity, such as:
- Washing and waxing a car with mum or dad for 1 hour
- Washing windows or floors with mum or dad for 1 hour
- Playing volleyball with your team or a bunch of mates for 45 minutes
- Playing touch football with a group of your friends for 1 hour
- Gardening with your grandparents for 45 minutes
- Shooting hoops with your brother or sister for 30 minutes
- Bicycling with your friends at a local park for 1 hour
- Dancing really fast with your younger siblings for 30 minutes
- Swimming laps for 20 minutes
- Jumping rope for 15 minutes and maybe challenge a friend
See how much fun you can have while keeping up with a fit and healthy lifestyle!
