2026 Anzac Day Closures

Members please note our branches will be closed on Monday 27th April for the ANZAC Day Public Holiday, and will reopen at 9:00am on Tuesday 28 April.

Our Member Engagement Centre will be closed for ANZAC day on Saturday 25 April and will reopen at 8:00am on Monday 27 April. You can email your enquiry to service@australianmilitarybank.com.au or send us a message via digital banking and the team will respond when we reopen.

Australian Military Bank Interest Rate Announcement

Following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s decision on 17 March 2026 to increase the official cash rate, we will be increasing existing variable rate home loans by 0.25% p.a. effective 1 April 2026. Affected members will receive a communication shortly confirming their new repayment amounts which will be applicable from 29 April 2026.

In line with the cash rate increase, we also continue to reward our members with competitive deposit offerings. We currently offer competitive term deposit rates, with members able to earn up to 5.00%*. In addition, rates on selected savings accounts will be increased in the coming weeks.

We understand that interest rate increases can be challenging. Members experiencing financial difficulty are encouraged to contact us on 1300 13 23 28 to discuss how we can assist.

Changed Operating Hours - Lavarack Branch

Until further notice, the Australian Military Bank Lavarack Branch opening hours will be 9:00am - 3:00pm.

Our Member Engagement Centre will be open standard operating hours, between 8am - 6pm (AEDT) Monday - Friday and 9am – 12pm (AEDT) on Saturdays, except for on the following public holidays:

Australian Military Bank joins the Respect and Protect campaign to tackle Financial Abuse

Australian Military Bank has joined over 40 Australian businesses who now include protection from financial abuse in their terms and conditions as part of the Respect and Protect program. 

Respect and Protect is a public awareness campaign that aims to encourage all businesses to make it clear that financial abuse is unacceptable customer behaviour which may result in warnings, account suspension or closure. 

Australian Military Bank helps protect its members from harm by delivering services and products supported by systems that detect financial abuse and facilitate a response, clear and accessible terms and conditions that outline zero tolerance for financial abuse, and staff resources to assist those under duress or in need of additional support.
